This is an open source Spaced Repetition SRS app. Anki is used for memorization[1], making explicit[2] declarative semantic[3] memory, though the goal of language learning is to make each memory automatic and therefore implicit.[4] Anki may be usable for Cognitive Testing. Spacing is very useful in learning.[5] It should be noted that flashcards like this are most popular for simple cue-question and fast response like with learning an new language[6] or studying for medical school.[7] Many bring up concerns about using flashcards for more complicated knowledge.
