Excel is one of most widely used softwares to interact with digital spreadsheets. It is part of the Microsoft Office suite. Beyond entering and editing data, it provides formulas for calculation and doing statistics.

While Excel is a paid tool, there are free alternatives such as Google Sheets and open source alternatives, such as Open Office and Libre Office.
