The Show and Tell pages on this wiki were automatically imported from the Quantified Self Show & Tell talk database. Some information might be missing or outdated. If you are the speaker of the talk, or somebody else having updated or supplemental information about the talk, and you want to update the page, here are some instructions to help you editing.

How to add a featured image

To insert images, you first have to upload them to the wiki, and then link to them via their title and "File:":

• Go to Upload Files, choose the image file from your computer, and assign title and license. If you made the image yourself, you can pick any license. If you are not the author of the image, please choose "From external source, no free license available."
• Then go back to the Show and Tell page you want to edit, and click either on "Edit" (for visual editor) or "Edit source" (for the source code editor) from the tabs on the top right of the page.
• In the visual editor:
  • Click on the box on the right titled "Show and Tell Infobox".
  • A pop-up titled "Template" should appear. Click on "Edit" in this pop-up.
  • A new pop up titled "Show and Tell Infobox" should appear.
  • in the field "Featured Image", insert "[[File:NAME-OF-YOUR-FILE.pdf | frameless | 250px]]"
• 'In the source code editor:
  • After "Featured Image=" in the {{Show and Tell Infobox}} template, insert "[[File:NAME-OF-YOUR-FILE.pdf | frameless | 250px]]"

How to add slides

To insert slides, you first have to upload them to the wiki, and then link to them via their title and "File:":

• Go to Upload Files, choose the pdf file from your computer, and assign title and license. If you made the slides yourself, you can pick any license. If you are not the author of the slides, please choose "From external source, no free license available."
• Then go back to the Show and Tell page you want to edit, and click either on "Edit" (for visual editor) or "Edit source" (for the source code editor) from the tabs on the top right of the page.
• In the visual editor:
  • Click on the box on the right titled "Show and Tell Infobox".
  • A pop-up titled "Template" should appear. Click on "Edit" in this pop-up.
  • A new pop up titled "Show and Tell Infobox" should appear.
  • in the field "Slides", insert "[[:File:NAME-OF-YOUR-FILE.pdf | NAME-OF-YOUR-FILE.pdf]]"
• In the source code editor:
  • After "Slides=" in the {{Show and Tell Infobox}} template, insert "[[:File:NAME-OF-YOUR-FILE.pdf | NAME-OF-YOUR-FILE.pdf]]"
