About the Personal Science Wiki

Why a wiki?

tbd

What this wiki is and what it isn't

tbd

  • What kind of content?
  • Pulling projects together/finding what has been done / cataloguing community meetings / linking content

Why are you not using Wikipedia / GitHub / Google Docs / ...?

tbd

  • In terms of Wikipedia: Allowing original research, no "notability" criterium (anyone practicing personal science can create a page about themselves)
  • GitHub: This is mainly about collaborative knowledge creation/sharing, less about code (even though pages can include code snippets or link to code); not everybody has access to push to the master branch on GH

Can I contribute to this wiki? Do I need to create an account?
