I was about to start adding some content on microbiome analyses to this article, but then I wondered whether we think it's the right place. It's a kind of genetic testing, even if it's conceptually different from the own genome. How do people feel about it? : Although "yes microbiome analysis is also DNA", I think "genetic testing" and "DNA testing" are almost universally used to refer to the individual organism's genome (typically human 😉) rather than genetic material of associated microbiota (or viruses, for that matter). I think it would be better to have a separate page, possibly including a link via a "hatnote" (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:For). - [[User:Madprime|Madprime]] ([[User talk:Madprime|talk]]) 17:19, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
