Hello, my name is Bret Bernhoft. I am a self-taught JavaScript Developer, and a fan/practitioner of self-quantification. From health metrics to media consumption, I've implemented self-tracking in my life as a means of accomplishing my goals; both large and small, all significant.

Self-quantification is (in my opinion and experience) an excellent approach to self-discovery, because it encourages a timeless mindful state of awareness concerning what's really going on for someone. It is being able to (1) capture/measure and (2) later review personal performance data over a period of time that is a true Renaissance for improving one's self. Thus self-quantification is a strategy I happily implement throughout my own world.

As time moves forward, I will be filling out this page with more details about myself. If you would like to learn more about me in the meantime, please consider visiting my website.
