PicturesEdit

I'm waiting for my Bangle v2 to be delivered, then I'll do a comparison photo to add to the article, comparing the v1, v2 and maybe some 'standard' next to it. - Gedankenstuecke (talk) 11:13, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Added a picture comparing v2 to Apple Watch - Gedankenstuecke (talk) 14:14, 23 March 2022 (UTC)

HR accuracyEdit

I just made a very rapid comparison by matching ~800 data points from the Bangle.js to the nearest timestamped HR data from my Apple Watch. As for the v1 of the Bangle.js it seems that the HR data as predicted by the default firmware isn't the most accurate, consistently underestimating the HR compared to the Apple Watch.

A big caveat: The Apple Watch was not in workout mode when collecting this data, so it only took recordings every few minutes, while the Bangle took a new HR reading every 10 seconds, so plenty of Bangle data points are associated with the same individual HR record from the apple watch.

One very confusing thing: The high-confidence recordings of the Bangle.js are farther off than the low-confidence ones.

try contour and density plots and agains like an ECG device like uECGDG (talk)
Yeah, I didn't take any gold standard data yet, and it's not based on too many data points, I still plan to do a better comparison!- Gedankenstuecke (talk) 17:10, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
