What is this category for?
This category is for pages about "tools", i.e. devices, apps, or other things that can be used to observe, analyze or intervene in the context of Personal Science.
How do I create a page of this category?
There are two possibilities: 1) You can add "[[Category:Tool]]" anywhere to the source text of an existing page. 2) You can use the tool form: Form:Tool
The form contains variables that I don't need / has bugs / doesn't make sense to me
The form was developed during the first design iteration of this wiki, and is not in a final stage. You are free to use it if it helps you, filling in all or just some of the variables, but you can also create your own structure. We are happy to get feedback / ideas for the form, feel free to add your comments to this page's discussion page!
Should I create a page for each series/model of a tool or just one overall tool page?
This depends on a case-by-case basis. If there are different series which differ only slightly, a single page with a table of sensors per series would be sufficient. However, if a tool has evolved a lot over time, its sensors and/or form changing a lot, it might be a better solution to split the pages. If you are not sure, just create your new tool page as you think is suitable in your case, maybe adding your thoughts on the page's talk page.
